If we will greatly desire a deeper, more friendly relationship with our Creator, we need only to remember 2 powerful steps.
1) Each morning, without fail, consecrate your day, your plans and even your thoughts to the LORD. This is the first work we are to do as it is our privilege to do. Surrender the heart, mind and emotions to God.
2) Actually ask for the power of the Holy Spirit on our day, on our plans and on our church each morning without fail. Plead with Jesus, as it were, to baptize you anew with the Holy Spirit. He will do it! “And whatsoever you shall ask in my name that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14
