Seventh-day Adventists Believe:
1) Righteousness is by Faith in the complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
2) Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. Ephesians 2: 5-10
3) The Law of 10 Commandments is the believers' code of behavior and are to be observed, kept and cherished as God's gift to mankind and in the keeping of them is the believer's power to overcome sin and self.
4) The Sabbath is the 7th day (Saturday) made by God as the capstone of the week of Creation, set apart as sanctified and holy and is to observed by all believers. Genesis 2:1-3.
5) The dead in Christ are, as it were, asleep awaiting the call of the Lifegiver to quicken them for everlasting life in heaven with the Creator. They will reign with Him in heaven for 1000 years and judge the wicked.
6) The wicked dead will be raised after the 1000 years for judgement and punishment.
7) The punishment of hell (Sheol i.e. the grave) will burn up the wicked root and branch until they are ashes. Even the memory of them will be forever forgotten. Malachi 4:1,3.
8) The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and is to be kept in the best possible state of health by the wise use of nutritious food, fresh water, sunshine, exercise, trust in Divine Power abstaining from harmful indulgences and being moderate with that which is good.
